The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something through one, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
What that means in practice
When I link to a product, I sometimes use a special link that tells the seller you came from here. If you buy, they pay me a small percentage. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid anyway.
My rules for affiliate links
I only link to things I’ve used or would buy for my own kids. I’m not going to recommend a $200 sensory swing because the commission is good. I rent, my budget is tight, and recommending things my readers can’t afford would make this whole site pointless.
If I haven’t used something personally, I say so. Sometimes I’ll link to a resource I’ve researched but not tried. I’ll tell you which is which.
I never accept payment for a positive review. If a company sends me a product, I’ll disclose it, and I’ll still say if it didn’t work for us.
I don’t link to cure or treatment products. Anything marketed as fixing, reversing, or recovering from autism doesn’t appear here, no matter what it pays.

Every post containing affiliate links says so at the top, before the links appear, in a line like this:

Why I use affiliate links
This blog costs money to run, and the products I write about cost money to test. Affiliate income helps cover that so the content can stay free.
If you’d rather not use an affiliate link, search for the product directly. I’d still rather you find what helps your family.
